It is our belief that we must become far more sophisticated in the way we live on the earth.  With increasing populations, unsustainable resources use and the depletion of species sharing the planet with us, we find ourselves at a crossroads.  Our mission is to help reduce the negatives impact of  human societies on the earth, though the practice of adaptive engineering.

Terra Firm Inc. was founded in 1994 in response to the increasing global earthquake damage risk to building contents.  It provides nonstructural seismic mitigation engineering services for an array of buildings in the residential, commercial, institutional and industrial sectors.

In 2008, Terra Firm expanded into the field of Smart Home system integration services for municipal and public interest programs.
